We have top quality facilities both upstairs and downstairs to make the club a great place to hire for rehearsals and recordings. For example, the club is used weekly by London Jazz Orchestra, and recently Bruno Heinen recorded with a string orchestra his reworking of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
It has also been used for meetings and conferences, where we have been able to cater, thanks to our in-house kitchen.
As well as the work done upstairs on the piano (which you can read about on the separate panel), we have also recently been kindly given a 1960s vintage Rogers UK kit, and loaned a Trace Elliot Commando bass amp. So both are now available during the day. We also have two Fender guitar amps.
The Downstairs, because it has a Young Chang upright rather than a Steinway B, is cheaper to hire for rehearsals.
Outside, it is possible to get artisan Ethiopian coffee from Kaffa Koffee (who also provide vegan vegetarian meals on Thursdays and Fridays), jerk chicken, and a nice cafe at Brunswick East (in Stamford Works).
