It’s a sh@t subject. But I have been to some meetings about it with Department of Culture. The outlook, especially in the case of a no deal, is certainly horrible in the near term. But we need to be ready.
If you are a musician, check out this page. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/preparing-for-no-deal-brexit-if-you-work-in-arts-culture-or-heritage
It’s being constantly updated. So keep looking back as things change.
The outlook in the near term is worse for musicians going abroad than for those wanting to come here. There will, for example, be no changes in worker status for visiting EU musicians till end 2020 at the earliest. It may also affect our Jazz Connective project, but the EU is keen to get a positive settlement. Whether the UK responds on this matter is something else of course.
