For the very first Grass Roots of 2020, discover Ħoss Project – a fresh, contemporary and experimental jazz quartet whose raison d’être is improvisation and on-the-spot creative collaboration.
The band line up includes Peter Galea on drums, Josh Hawkins on guitar, Basile Petite on bass and Rich Muscat on alto sax.
Founded only last year and inspired by luminaries such as Herbie Hancock, The Tony Williams Lifetime, Mark Guiliana and Tigran Hamasyan, this South London-based foursome is ready to take the city and beyond by storm in the upcoming months.
Before the live music begins and while the boys take a break on the night, resident DJ Mr Boogie will be back behind the decks with a bagful of records from his brimful collection.
