About
Milena Granci is a pianist of French and Italian descent. After moving to London to complete a Master degree at The Guildhall School of Music, she is now slowly taking part in the music scene, collaborating with other musicians as well as composing and leading her own band.
Milena’s project steers away from the conventional jazz aesthetic into a realm inspired by her eclectic musical influences that embrace atmospheres from folk to classical music. Her compositions feature sensitive, melancholic, yet uplifting wordless melodies, whilst exploring a wide range of musical emotions.
The Sextet has already performed at venues like Spice of Life Jazz Club (Soho), Pizza Express Jazz club (Soho), and opened for the Larry Bartley Trio during the EFG London Jazz Festival 2021.
She is now working towards recording her first EP.
