This dynamic trio unites the musical forces of Berlin-based Phillip Dornbusch (tenor saxophone/clarinet) with London’s Olly Chalk (piano) and Will Glaser (drums). Together, they seek to navigate the razor-sharp corners of their energetic and vibrant compositions in a uniquely bass-less line up. With bold improvising at it’s core, their music ducks and dives precipitously, weaving fables through the ferocious and the fragile.
Previous appearances of the trio have included concerts at LOFT (Cologne), Donau115 (Berlin) and a fully improvised concert at the Vortex Jazz Club (London) which featured pioneering British trumpet player Laura Jurd.
