Three of London’s vibrant young jazz voices come together to create their own take on vocal jazz harmony singing. Inspired by the music of bebop legends and the vocalese tradition, Ella Hohnen-Ford, Rosina Bullen and Luca Manning perform their own arrangements with tight vocal harmonies and improvisation. Each of these vocalists bring their own personality and distinct sound to the music, culminating in a refreshing and engaging performance. Their resident rhythm section features some of the most in demand young players on the scene. David Swan, Seth Tackaberry and Boz Martin-Jones provide an interactive and spontaneous energy to the Threebop sound.
Having just finished touring and recording their recent Nancy Wilson & Cannonball Adderley project the group will be performing a mix of enticing arrangements from composers such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Loesser and Billy Strayhorn.
