An unmissable chance to learn authentic blues from three of the most sought-after musicians on the UK’s blues scene.
Pianist and vocalist Paddy Milner, guitarist and vocalist Marcus Bonfanti, and drummer & harmonica player Pat Levett have worked with legends like Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Ronnie Wood and Bernard Purdie. Between international tours they are noted educators who all have courses on the online education site MusicGurus.
Over this three hour masterclass Paddy, Marcus and Pat will teach you how to play authentic blues in an ensemble, covering the secrets and subtleties of boogie woogie, New Orleans-style, slow blues and more.
Participants will get a chance to jam with the professionals, and receive pointers on their playing. All instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome. A guest amp and mic will be provided, and Paddy and Pat will allow selected participants to sit in on piano and drums.
The masterclass will begin and end with a 20 minute set from Paddy, Marcus and Pat, to get all attendees inspired to learn during and after the day’s session.
