About
Diarra Walcott-Ivanhoe is a pianist and composer based in North London. Since completing his undergraduate studies in music at Goldsmiths, University of London, he has gone on to pursue an active music career playing in a variety of musical arenas, and is currently undertaking a post-graduate degree in Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Having grown up in London, Diarra has had a rich and diverse musical upbringing that exposed him to an array of different genres including Jazz, Soul, Reggae and Soca. He has fostered a love and appreciation for all of these different styles of music which has led him to performing at venues such as Jazz Café, Royal Albert Hall and Westminster Abbey. With his music, he aspires to reflect these various stylistic interests, as well as meditate on the personal experiences within his own life.
