This is the third night of a 3-day festival commemorating Jelly Roll Morton, who died 75 years ago today, and celebrating how his spirit lives on – but with a very different musical legacy! – in East London today,

Featuring the bewitching voice of Maja Rivić, added to the 7-strong horn section from Saturday, the house band with Australian jazz diva Louise Elliott and the scintillating rhythm section of Andres Lafone and Paul Clarvis – New Orleans comes to East London in a grand finale tribute to Jelly Roll Morton, including songs by Tony Haynes celebrating also other legendary musicians from Buddy Bolden to Charlie Parker.
