About
Tom Remon is a young, aspiring guitarist on the London Jazz scene. Having only recently graduated from Middlesex University, his playing conveys a maturity beyond his years. Tom has been a part of the Jazz Warriors development program and has already played with some of the era’s most esteemed Jazz musicians, including Denys Baptiste, Steve Williamson and Gary Crosby.
Jim Mullen is a National Treasure of this country’s music scene, and has been a relentless driving force and inspiration for many budding guitarist over his 5 decade career! Originally from Glasgow, Jim later moved to London to play music professionally. From the early 70s onwards, Jim has played in many influential bands which paved the way for countless musicians – Kokomo, Morrissey-Mullen, The Average White Band, Gene Harris Quartet – to name but a few. Jim is an unbelievable improviser and he continues to be a regular performer with his own projects at esteemed venues such as Ronnie Scotts’ and The 606.
This is an album which spans the generations of Jazz, and is a quality debut album worthy of a place in any Jazz fan’s collection.
