About
The sax bass drums trio of Kjetil Møster, John Edwards and Dag Erik Knedal Andersen is a UK/Norwegian free improvising group that has toured in Norway, but has never played together in the UK. Each member of the trio is a renowned improviser and together they make powerful music. They are playing three dates in the UK, a short tour that culminates in this Vortex date.
Kjetil Møster has since 2000 played in many contexts touring the world and releasing over 50 albums. He is equally at home in jazz, in improvised music, avant rock, noise music and contemporary classical music. Particularly notable are his albums with his own group Møster on the Norwegian Hubro label.
Dag Erik Knedal Andersen brings a jazz sensibility and creativity to a number of contexts, notably free improvisation and noise music. He was voted ‘Talent Of The Year’ at the Molde Jazz Festival in 2010.
