Saxophonist Stan Sulzmann is one of the most adored musicians in jazz. A founder member and featured soloist in the London Jazz Orchestra for over 20 years, he also composed and arranged a wealth of beautiful music for the band. This gig will feature his LJO music plus the premier of a brand new composition, and welcomes Matt Sulzmann as a guest soloist.
The opening set features music by LJO bassist Calum Gourlay, who in addition to writing music for his own band, has created a delightful new set of original music for the LJO’s expanded lineup.
