About
Internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Marta Gornitzka embraces both her Eastern European heritage and her love for the Great American Songbook, blending and bending the branches of jazz. This project draws from a wide range of influences from folk and traditional Polish music all the way through to avant-garde and free jazz mixed together in imaginative arrangements deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.
Marta will take you on a sonic journey through her own compositions, re-workings of Polish classics from folk, film music and poetry as well as her own renditions of well-known songs.
