First up in Mopomoso’s new afternoon slot is cellist Hannah Marshall with Berlin-based Spanish piano player Josep Maria Balanya, followed by saxophonist Rachel Musson, an improviser able to play across the spectrum and to change effortlessly between both dynamic and timbral elements. The final set of the evening features Alan Tomlinson Trio including Phil Marks (drums).
