‘THE WORKSHOP INVITES’
Formed in 2016 to mark the 25th anniversary of the first Mopomoso concerts the Mopomoso workshops have continued each week in London’s West End. Guests are invited to take part in a monthly concert open to the public and for this special show the workshop takes over Mopomoso’s regular afternoon slot at the Vortex to present a diverse and engaging mix of improvised music featuring its members in collaboration with a specially invited group of guests from the wider improvising community.

Founded to mark the silver jubilee year of Mopomoso, the UK’s longest running organisation dedicated to promoting freely improvised music, The Mopomoso Workshop Group is a collective of improvising musicians from a wide range of creative backgrounds. The group meets weekly to share and explore the music through performance. For the 2017 London Jazz festival they have been given centre stage to work with invited guests. A great chance to here some of these fine musicians and to see where the music might be going in the future. Full programme nearer the date on www.mopomoso.com
