This Thursday 21st May from 7PM BST, we are thrilled to broadcast a Live stream performance from the home of Tom Ollendorff (guitar), Andrew Lisle (drums), Tom Riviere (bass), and Will Barry (piano). So tune in, grab a drink and join the Vortex community for an amazing evening of music!
Lucky for us, these musicians are all housemates based in London, and they’ll be performing a mix of original compositions and improvised music.
Since closing our doors to the public on the 17th March, we have been getting together a programme of events to keep showcasing the best jazz and improvised music from across the UK and the world. To make sure we can keep broadcasting performances, we need your help. We realise that there is a lot of uncertainty about the coming months, but if you’re in a position to support us, then please consider making a donation of £3-5 per gig: https://bit.ly/36jfAOS
Your donations will play a vital role in keeping music alive across the world. As venues shut globally and with your support, our club will be part of a new movement; bringing you inspiring live-streamed concerts, connecting you with the work of amazing musicians, and keeping The Vortex community going strong.
Together we can come together through music – helping reduce social isolation through these difficult times.
