Paul Dunmall returns to The Vortex for this special concert in celebration of his 70th birthday.
Widely lauded as one of the finest improvisors to emerge from the European Jazz/Improvised music scene, Dunmall will feature his current critically acclaimed Quartet.
The second half of the concert will feature a remarkable Octet, specially convened for this evening. A heavyweight gathering comprising some of Dunmall’s longtime collaborators.
This concert promises to be one for the ages and a fitting tribute to an indispensable fixture of the British Jazz movement.
