Pete Hurt has been running large bands of varying sizes for about forty years. The present line-up is the largest yet and features veterans such as Henry Lowther and Andy Cleyndert who rub shoulders with younger players like Jon Scott, Josephine Davies and Robbie Robson. The band will be playing mostly original compositions by Pete several of which are featured on the British Jazz Awards nominated CD “A New Start” released on the Trio label.
