David Preston, Kevin Glasgow & Laurie Lowe are three of London’s most creative young instrumentalists. Their music is a mash-up of relentless rhythmic energy, harmonic dystopia, and virtuosic improvisations.
Expanding the format of the guitar trio with intricate and unique compositions, they draw influence from an expansive array of styles, whilst maintaining a focused original sound.
Set to release their debut album on the internationally acclaimed Whirlwind Recordings, they will embark on an extensive UK tour early 2016.

David Preston (guitar) was born in London and started classical guitar at the age of 6. He has recorded and/or performed live with Melody Gardot, Martin Taylor, Curtis Stigers, Jesse Harris, Kate Earl, Paul Stacey, Peter Ind, Zhenya Strigalev, Charlotte Church, Ayanna Witter Johnson, Riz MC and UK beat-boxing star Shlomo. In 2013 he joined former Nucleus / Loose Tubes saxophonist Tim Whitehead’s Homemade Orchestra playing a 60 date UK tour featuring the Poet, Novelist and British Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen and vibraphonist Jim Hart. He has performed at the Royal Opera House writing original music for Miguel Altunaga of Rambert Dance Company and performed onstage with Carlos Acosta for the critically acclaimed show ‘Cubania’.
Kevin Glasgow (bass) was born in Inverness and moved to London in 2008. He has performed and/or recorded with Tommy Smith, Tony Monaco, Tim Garland, Marcos Valle, Nicolas Meier, Clark Tracey, Joe Locke, Asaf Sirkis, Gareth Lockrane, and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (featuring soloists such as John Scofield, Bill Evans, Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine and Julian Joseph). He currently plays bass in a number of projects, the Nicolas Meier Trio, the Asaf Sirkis trio and Tommy Smith’s ‘Karma’.
Laurie Lowe (drums) has been playing drums since the age of six and has gained experience playing with many different artists in many different genres of music. Since then Laurie has gone on to play with some of the top jazz musicians in the country such as Robert Mitchell’s Panacea, Gilad Atzmon, Nicolas Meier, Jim Mullen, Dave O’Higgins, Andy Sheppard, Mike Mondesir, Zhenya Strigalev and Carl Orr. Laurie has also toured with the Grammy Nominated American Hip Hop/R&B group ‘’The Foreign Exchange’’, receiving widespread critical acclaim.
