Sam Glaser brings his exciting new quartet to the Vortex to showcase his original compositions with some of London’s most in-demand musicians. Sam has a distinctive alto sound and modern writing style with influences ranging from Kurt Rosenwinkel, Will Vinson and Chris Cheek to Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane.
Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in 2016, Sam has performed extensively around the UK and abroad with bands including the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Gareth Lockrane Big Band and Patchwork Jazz Orchestra at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s and The Sage.
