Samba Azul is a chameleon collective of London-based musicians with a shared passion for Brazilian music that has been together for over 10 years. The members hail from different countries and each have their own unique connection to the music of Brazil both past and present. Tonight at the Vortex the band will appear as a quartet performing modern arrangements of acclaimed Brazilian composers, and new material from their forthcoming record.
