THE VORTEX DOWNSTAIRS
Continuing the long tradition of jazz jam sessions with musicians fine tuning their chops & maybe sparring a little too, the Vortex Downstairs Jam is a chance to see some extraordinary musicians play. Led by guitarist Hannes Riepler, the atmosphere is playful but the calibre is outstanding. Spotted so far have been Django Bates and Soweto Kinch among others.
