Hard to have too many as we go back here in London to a full lockdown. However, we must take the chance to prepare for better times ahead, hopefully in the summer. What have we gained from the last year to help us with a new adapted environment to create and perform, e.g. from digital engagement, from wider contacts and more?
So it’s a chance for all, from musicians through to organisers to fans to exchange views and look forward.
And to have a quote from the legendary Ian Durie is perhaps appropriate, as he actually had close contact with many imaginative jazz musicians over the years, going right the way back to his art college times in the early 60s.
