Jan Kopinski’s Pinski Zoo has been since the 80s one of the important iconic bands on the scene, a link between the prog scene of the 70s and the young ‘upstarts’ like Led Bib. But he’s also never lost his Polishness, also important because musicians like Komeda created some of the first identifiable European jazz in the 50s and 60s (such as the soundtrack for Polanski’ ‘Knife In The Water’)
Jan’s projects are therefore always worth checking out.
