Vortex Jam Session EFG London Jazz Festival Special Edition w/ Riley Stone Lonergan
A weekly session on Sunday evenings, the jams will be hosted by four of London’s finest: drummer Jas Kayser, pianist Rick Simpson, tenor saxophonists Helena Kay and Riley Stone-Lonergan (+ a few guests), each one hosting one session on rotation.
London Jazz Orchestra: Between Earth and Sky
The centrepiece of the LJO’s Festival performance is Stroman’s uplifting new suite Between Earth and Sky, creating space for the band’s outstanding soloists and vocalist Brigitte Beraha as it travels through a range of emotions, grooves and feels.

“Vortex Lates” is a new series of events taking place in our downstairs bar from 10-1am every Friday or Saturday. A new late-night jazz hang for Dalston where you can grab a drink and listen to some of the best improvised musicians from around the city.
Bag Of Bones
The London-based quartet has honed its chemistry through many hours playing together. Stone-Lonergan, Simpson, Hayhurst and Glaser all contribute compositions, which are all designed to experiment with the freedom of music within the structure of a loose container.

Laura Jurd Trio
