Working with Afghani poet, Reza Mohammadi, guitarist/composer and Gokumi leader Joel Bell has drawn from the traditional Persian compositional technique of borrowing rhythms from ancient poetry. Expect a blurring of tradition, improvisation and composition in an intimate expression of contemporary spoken word.
